For the same load, presswood pallets are lighter than wooden pallets.
For the same load, presswood pallets are cheaper than wooden pallets. Presswood pallets can be washed like plastic pallets, but are not recommended for wet rooms. Wooden pallets should not be washed since they will be heavier and attract rot, fungus and insects.
Old wooden pallets will decompose creating hazards for people handling them. It can be rusty nail, wood chips and broken boards. Presswood pallets are one-piece products without nails.
The high temperature and pressure don’t allow any living organism to survive. Presswood pallets are not regulated by ISPM 15 and are ready for export.
